Help your puppy shine at puppy school

Instruction and interaction during the first six to eight months of development ensures that a puppy readily absorbs information from its social and physical environment.

Blakehurst Vets' puppy school gets them started on the road to good socialisation and is tailored to suit the participants with positive reinforcement, short segments and social time.

Because your puppy undoubtedly has a short attention span, activities and learning exercises are brief in puppy class with an emphasis on fun.

While puppy classes are generally about socialising with other dogs, our classes also have a focus on puppies socialising with people and family members are encouraged to attend giving puppies the chance to learn to interact with family members of all ages.

Puppy classes are run regularly at the vet hospital and to book your pup's place, please contact our nurses on 9547 2750.
